Dear HOPE Via Parents and our Racine Community,
I am humbled and excited to serve as principal at HOPE Christian School Via. Prior to my role as principal, I served at Via as a Dean of Students for 3 years and a Dean of Instruction for 1.5 years. My previous experience as a classroom teacher for 6 years has deepened my passion for education and my belief in every single student to reach their full potential. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Lee University and Carthage College and my master’s degree from Alverno College.
It is my goal to ensure we keep our promises to families by providing a high-quality rounded education for all our scholars. We are excited to celebrate what we have accomplished and driven by what God has in store for our growth in the coming years!
Here is what Via is celebrating in our 8th year running:
- Having a high-quality teacher in every classroom
- Projected MAP scores that meet or go above National Charter School Growth Norms:
|National Charter School Growth Norm||Via|
- Via Attendance Average: 91% RUSD: 89% MPS: 84.9%
- Retention of families increased by 26% from the 22-23 school year
At HOPE Via, we continually challenge our scholar’s to not only meet their goals, but to exceed them. To help guide instruction, we use ongoing assessments to help teachers maximize instruction through tailored to your scholar’s needs. We love to recognize the success of our scholar’s hard work through celebrations that focus on weekly goals, progress, and teamwork in the classroom. We work to impart life long characteristics such as responsibility, respect, integrity, and diligence.
I am blessed to be a part of the amazing things God is doing in our school and our community, and I look forward to partnering with you in the 2023-2024 school year. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at 262-800-9021 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Yours in Christ,
Principal HOPE Via
